Let’s Go! Peace Out 2025!

Walking into the unknown can be scary.  As the new year approaches, I’m sure, like most of us, you have goals that you want to reach and dreams that you want to fulfill.  While many fear the unknown, as we go into 2026, do so with confidence, faith, and a knowing that you will succeed, because you will.  The first step is having a positive mindset. 

We all have gifts and these gifts are meant to be shared.  Perhaps something has been gnawing at you to start that business, to go back to school, to learn a trade, to travel, to write that book, and so forth.  That’s your inner knowing.  Sometimes, we may have a vision and a pull to go in a certain direction, yet we try to ignore it, or think of every excuse as to why we could never achieve that which is on our heart.  We try to ignore the very thing that the universal creator has placed within us, becoming fearful of actually going after it.

The time is now, and with every passing minute, hour, day, and so forth, you could be closer to your goal, but you must start.  Dr. Martin Luther King said that faith is taking that first step even though you cannot see the entire staircase.  How true is that?  Very!  All of us must start somewhere, and trust that we will learn along the way.  People that you never expected will be put on your path to guide you.

As you go along this journey, it is extremely important to remember one thing in particular.  Do not compare yourself to anyone else.  We each have our own journey and our own race.  Sometimes we get so caught up with the “progress” that someone else has made towards their dreams, but we do not know the background of what went into that progress.  We only see that outside shiny, glittery appearance that looks good and what you would consider “successful.”  But again, that is their journey.  Focus on your journey.

Focus on the goals that have been placed within.  Whatever it is that you want to achieve, go for it.  The only person stopping you is you.  While your life may not be exactly where you want it to be right now, the fact that you are still here allows you another opportunity to go after your dreams and goals.  You will be amazed at what opportunities open for you as you begin to walk in faith and just go for it.
